Awesome service minimize the Dear traffic in my yard right away. I noticed them avoiding coming to my flowers and other flower beds in the backyard. Glad I got the service.

We are very happy with the results we’ve had with the En Garde system. So nice to see our hostas thriving this year instead of being the salad bar for the deer that they were in the past. So glad I called them. An extra plus, the fellows who’ve come are so very nice and willing to answer questions! Rinse, in the office is a gem!

Response from the owner:We are so glad you called, as well, Mrs. Louisin! And we totally agree with you - our spray techs are the best! Thank you for taking the time to share your experience with our service and product.

EnGuard members were always polite and very prompt. They communicated well so I knew when they were coming. My gardens have grown better this year because of their spray schedule. Bravo!

Response from the owner:Thank you, Mary! We're so glad your gave our service a try this year. We hope to see you again starting in Spring 2027 for another year of great garden growth!

Immediate signs that is effective. Plants are flourishing!

Response from the owner:We love to hear that your plants are flourishing! Thank you for the review, Michael. Just a bit of a heads up - it is possible that you may see a nibble here and there as the deer who are used to eating your plants come back to see if they still taste and smell bad. But the spray application should break that habit pretty quickly. Thank you for trusting us to guard your yard from deer damage.

First, this product works! I had one blossom eaten at the very beginning of spring, but after that none were touched. I had tried everything and nothing had worked before En Garde! Second, the customer service is great -- responsive, attentive, helpful, cheerful. Could not be better!

Response from the owner:Thank you for your kind review, Dynda! Sometimes those deer will nibble a blossom here or there just to see if it still tastes and smells bad. It sounds like they definitely got the message in your yard. That's what we like to hear!

I’ve used En Garde for years to protect my yard from deer, and the results speak for themselves. While the deer devour everyone else’s flowers, especially hydrangeas, my yard remains untouched — year after year. Their treatments really work! Our technician, Sammy, is always polite, professional, and does an outstanding job. Thanks to En Garde and Sammy, my hydrangeas look amazing and I never have to worry about deer damage. Highly recommended!

Response from the owner:Hi Mr. Lauria! We will be sure to tell Sammy that you said so. We couldn't agree more! Thank you for this review and for being a loyal customer. If you pass word about your secret garden weapon on to your neighbors whose flowers are being devoured and they become a customer you will get 50% off of a spray - one for each person you recommend. Be sure to tell them to drop your name.

After 15 years of doing home application, this was my first time using an outside company to spray, and had outstanding results. 0ur yard has hostas, daylillies, taxus, and flowering plants. Saw only a few deer the entire growing season, with zero damage to our yard.

Response from the owner:Hi Terry, We are happy to take over the work of spraying so you can sit back and enjoy your landscaping. You may continue to see some deer as they come back every now and again to nibble. But once they do they'll realize your plants still taste and smell bad and they'll be on their way. Thank you for giving our service a try and and for spreading the word!

En Garde Deer Defense truly makes a difference. What used to be a “salad buffet” for deer in my front flower bed has completely changed—now I see them running away. It’s been an absolute godsend.

Response from the owner:Hi Mr. Meyers, Thank you for taking the time to write us a review and spread the word. We're so glad to hear that the salad buffet has been closed! Enjoy that front garden!

I would like to congratulate you and your employees that perform such a valuable service at my home. I've been living here for about 14 years, during which time I have had a constant battle to maintain the property from the ever present population of deer. Since you have become involved with the property, the deer population is no longer a problem. This year marks the very first year I have been able to enjoy the beauty of my colorful landscaping. I highly recommend EG Deer Defense to control the deer population on anyone's property. Thank you for you knowledge and experience at what you offer. The best, no contest.

Response from the owner:Thank you for trusting us to guard your yard from deer damage, Mr. Butala. We're happy to join in the battle with you and glad to hear about the spoils of the winning. Enjoy that landscaping!

We have a long yard with lots of landscaping and flowers. Using deer repellents, as soon as it rained and washed off, the deer typically ate everything, We contacted En Garde Deer Defense last year and now the deer only pass through our yard to go into the neighbors’ yards. Since the first Trial Application, they have not touched anything in our yard. We now have all sorts of flowers like we haven’t seen in years. I would highly recommend calling these folks who are also very nice people as well.

Response from the owner:This is such a nice review, Mr. Solomon! Thank you! We love to hear that you are able to enjoy some long lost flowers!

I was hesitant to believe that this would work, but I highly recommend them. I have seen my daylillies for the first time in 15 years. I have taken down all my fencing so I can see my plants. I don't know how they do it, but it works!

Response from the owner:Thank you for the recommendation, Judith. We're glad to hear you are enjoying your day lilies without fences. That makes us smile. There's a little bit of magic in the service - consistency and great spray techs to spread the scent and taste that the deer don't like.

Tried for the first time and in 2 weeks the deer have not eaten any more plants. Very professional and pleasant. Has now been 3-4 weeks and for the first time in 20 some odd years I actually have flowers, hostas, and all my other plants/shrubs that the deer have not eaten as a delicacy. Have signed on for the next year. Great service and very pleasant to deal with. A few years latter and still have same results and greta service.

Response from the owner:Yay! That is what we like to hear! Thank you for spreading the word, Jan!

I am so impressed with this company and for what it’s done for my outdoor plants and keeping deer away from them! They have never bloomed and grown so full this year. If you have plants you want to keep nice definitely contact EnGarde. They are very professional and thorough!

Response from the owner:Thank you for the shout out, AL. We love to hear that your plants are doing so well and that you are happy with our service. We couldn't agree more - take AL's word and definitely contact us.

excellent and on time service so that the blooms on our day lilies throughput the yard can bloom beautifully

Response from the owner:Thank you for taking the time to write us a review Mrs. Polsen! Those deer sure do love the day lilies! And those day lilies sure do bud and bloom so quickly! The trouble is if they bud or bloom after we've sprayed they are not protected, so a browsing deer might find a few that are edible. If you see that is happening with your day lilies be sure to give us a call about our Buds and Blooms Program. It's an as needed add on designed specifically for plants like day lilies. In the meanwhile, enjoy those beautiful flowers! 🦌
